Emotions vs Reason

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Again I stress this quote:
"Teach ourselves to ponder and contemplate more to see better things, not to see
ugliness"

Why do I keep stressing this quote? Well, the norm is people like to divert their attention to the negative first before they even consider looking at the positive. We focus on the little things when the big picture is totally different from what we have imagined. Sometimes we ourselves create the preventable chaos but we only search for answers from outside covering the details deep within.

Don't look when you don't think it's not too good
Don't judge another man
when you're not too sure

That’s part of the lyrics in my song. There’s a reason why I wrote that part.
Sure, everybody has issues. As I said before, we are merely humans, no one is faultless. But because we are humans, we somehow fix our minds to believe that others have to be perfect… perfect for them at least!

It is always best to Tawaqal (trust in Allah (swt) – God Almighty) and always keep a genuine, honest intention in everything you do. Others might not treat you kindly but at the end of the day, we do not have control over matters. Everything is by Allah’s Plan and His Will; It is how we choose to react to them that Allah (swt) is testing.

Surah 57: v22: "No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz) before We bring it into existence. Verily that is easy for Allah."

Surah 3: v 286: "Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope…"

Do not dwell over things that have happened in the past. These events cannot be changed. By looking at other people’s calamities, e.g. victims of natural disasters, war, oppression, those that live with disabilities and illnesses, they make us reflect on their problems which are much bigger and require much more patience. Hence, helping us to appreciate our realities and look within ourselves first before we give our verdict…especially on others.
